Burntcoat Head (Improperly known as Burncoat) is an unincorporated ruralCanadian community in Hants County, Nova Scotia and is known internationally as the site where it was officially recorded that the Bay of Fundy, and specifically Burntcoat, has the highest tides in the world.

If you’re glamping from Scotia Pines Campgrounds, there’s plenty to do and see from this centrally located, family operated campground. Victoria Park in Truro is a natural woodland park of roughly 3,000 acres with extensive trails and home to Jacob’s Ladder. Tidal Bore Rafting adventures on the Shubenacadie are nearby and lead you towards Bay of Fundy and the highest recordes tides in the world!
